The reason for this letter, is asking for permission to use Mumford & Sons ‘Awake My Soul’ music track within our media coursework, we ask for copyright permission to use this. We believe copyrighting to be important as it is the law that gives the creators of literary, dramatic, musical, artistic works, sound recordings, broadcasts, films and typographical arrangement of published editions, rights to control the ways in which their material may be used. Without this, people could use someone’s lyrics (For example) and claim it as there own, and almost claim financial benefits from it. We hope that you allow permission of copyright for the use of Mumford & Sons ‘Awake My Soul’. Hope to hear information soon.
